Constant Force Window Balance Springs

            For over 25 years, John Evans’ has been producing constant force balance springs with the finest quality, delivery and service. We also have the best prices. John Evans' carries raw material and finished parts in inventory. We produce ½” wide and ¾” wide springs as well as egress springs at smaller widths.

The Curve Balance System

            Unlike traditional balance shoes that have four corners and are rectangular shaped, the NEW Curve Balance System is configured to have only one point of contact as the sash is raised and lowered. This revolutionary design reduces friction and drag. The result is lower operating forces and a smoother working window.

Assembling the spring to the Curve balance shoe is easy and does not require a screw. Completed assemblies are also available.

AAMA

            John Evans' is a member of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association. Our balance springs are AAMA qualified.  This includes our 8 lb. & 9 lb. 1/2" wide springs and our 10 lb. & 11 lb. 3/4" wide spring.  We believe we are the only manufacturer to have these 40” long springs AAMA qualified.
