Mechanical Assemblies
If you are seeking a source for assemblies or sub-assemblies, which in any way utilize springs, we encourage you to discuss your requirements with us. John Evans’ is frequently able to offer "one stop shopping". We suggest you talk to us during the early design stage, as we are often able to suggest methods that will result in significant cost savings.
Our extensive tool room facilities enable us to design and build tools, fixtures and dies to manufacture components used in spring assemblies. Some of our secondary capabilities include, machining, forming, swaging, coining, grinding, welding, brazing, tapping, heat treating, and EDM work. Typically, assemblies include combinations of springs, wireforms and stampings, shafts, pistons, tubing, seals, bearings and machined or molded plastic parts, which can either be purchased by us or consigned to us by you.
Spring sub-assemblies may call for the use of components made of a variety of materials (molded plastic, machined metal, rubber). We frequently are able not only to produce the specialty spring, but then to assemble the spring and various customer-designated or customer-supplied additional parts into a completed sub-assembly.
Often, it is cost-effective to consider sub-assembly at the point of spring manufacture, and in this approach, John Evans' excels.
John Evans' capabilities make "one stop shopping" sensible. We would be pleased to discuss your assembly requirements.
